Date

- Electricity production was 60 036 GWh in January 2008.

- This was higher by 916 GWh, or 1.5 %, compared to January 2007.

- This was an increase of 3 108 GWh, or 5.5 %, compared to the previous month.

- Hydro production showed the most significant percentage change compared to the previous month with

an increase of 7.8 %, or 2 689 GWh.

- Total production for the year-to-date was 60 036 GWh. Comparing this to the same period last year shows that:

- Total production was higher by 916 GWh, or 1.5 %.

- Geoth./Wind/Solar/Other production showed the largest percentage change by fuel type, being 44.7 % higher.

- Trade volume increased by 2 094 GWh, or 33.3 %.
