Date

- Electricity production was 52 991 GWh in January 2008.

- This was higher by 1 308 GWh, or 2.5 %, compared to January 2007.

- This was a decrease of 1 252 GWh, or 2.3 %, compared to the previous month.

- Nuclear production showed the most significant percentage change compared to the previous month with

an increase of 8.7 %, or 990 GWh.

- Total production for the year-to-date was 52 991 GWh. Comparing this to the same period last year shows that:

- Total production was higher by 1 308 GWh, or 2.5 %.

- Geoth./Wind/Solar/Other production showed the largest percentage change by fuel type, being 11.3 % higher.

- Trade volume increased by 3 583 GWh, or 48.6 %.
