Date

- Electricity production was 6 308 GWh in January 2008.

- This was higher by 1 355 GWh, or 27.4 %, compared to January 2007.

- This was an increase of 1 997 GWh, or 46.3 %, compared to the previous month.

- Combustible Fuels production showed the most significant percentage change compared to the previous month with

an increase of 63.8 %, or 2 194 GWh.

- Total production for the year-to-date was 6 308 GWh. Comparing this to the same period last year shows that:

- Total production was higher by 1 355 GWh, or 27.4 %.

- Hydro production showed the largest percentage change by fuel type, being 80.4 % lower.

- Trade volume decreased by 194 GWh, or 16.6 %.
