-  Electricity production was 363 314 GWh in January 2008.
- This was higher by 9 643 GWh, or 2.7 %, compared to January 2007.
- This was an increase of 14 960 GWh, or 4.3 %, compared to the previous month.
- Hydro production showed the most significant percentage change compared to the previous month with
an increase of 17.4 %, or 3 315 GWh.
- Total production for the year-to-date was 363 314 GWh. Comparing this to the same period last year shows that:
- Total production was higher by 9 643 GWh, or 2.7 %.
- Hydro production showed the largest percentage change by fuel type, being 16.1 % lower.
- Trade volume increased by 1 709 GWh, or 33.8 %.
